I've been a critic of former President Bush Jr for years. I remember clearly getting kicked out of a police station because I wouldn't turn my shirt inside out that had a picture of Bush with the quote "Not My President". However, it seems so much that when I engage into a political conversation or debate with someone that if I'm against one politician, I'm for the other. I was told "Well Kerry won't do any better", with my response being "Not once did I mention I was a fan of his so that logic is purposeless". When King Bush as I liked to call him (anyone that passes a bill without congress knowing for ABSOLUTE POWER with a 1-0 vote, that one vote of course being his, is an imperialist folks, not because it's to fight the war on terrorism) decided to leave office, the face of someone young, fresh, hip, and ready for hope and change hopped on the scene. He told us what we all hoped for. The change we wanted. Could it be for once we had a president that wasn't going to have his strings pulled by the puppeteers of the world bankers or those who pay for his campaign contributions? When he won, millions cried and felt finally, things will change. Here's one video to show you that particularly caught my interest....
Now to a Wal-Mart worker, doing mechancial work in the automotive department (as much as I haaaaaaaate saying it) as myself, I wanted to smile at this. The company is scared for its life that a rebellion comes in the way of a union (a real union that wouldn't be paid off behind the scenes). To help instill the fear, Wal-Mart shut down one of it's Canadian stores after a union came in due to "lack of profit". This scared everyone that I knew so their plan worked. And unlike most cases, The Employee Free Choice Act talked about in this video would only need 30% of the votes to get a union in. With this, Wal-Mart started posting propaganda about needing to vote republican! Suddenly though, their campaign contributions started shifting toward democrats....hmmmmm.....Now this was something Mr. Obama was going to pass! Listen to him in the video! Finally change was going to happen! Then this....
"In late July, 2009, news media reported that key Senate advocates of the EFCA have proposed to drop the provision of the bill allowing a union to become certified only on the basis of majority sign-up (card check), while leaving other provisions of the bill intact."
Since then....nothing. Nothing has been said whatsoever about the EFCA. It's been swept under the rug. No change. No hope for change.
More examples in the days to come on how it's the same president, different face. Such as the promise of the war in iraq to end once in office, him promising we'll see a bill online 5 days before it's voted on, and lobbyists would never be in his cabinet....just to name a few.
